Filter Ledgers by Ledger Group

• In Ledger Report, you can now filter the list of ledgers using a ledger group. So, viewing all the bank ledgers, tax ledgers, etc just got easier than before.

Place of Supply

• Some business use place of supply in sharing invoice by PDF. We have added support for the same in this release.

• In Receivables/Payables, ageing graph was not visible while selecting a custom date. We have added that now.

Purchase Biz Analyst License directly from the app

• Now all users can pay for a biz analyst license directly from the app. On successful purchase, a GST invoice will be emailed to the registered email address.

Profit and Loss Report

• Finally, we bring to you the much awaited profit and loss report. You can access it from ‘Reports -> Profit & Loss’. Currently, the report does not include inventory.
• By defualt, we show the report for the current month, but you can use the calendar icon at the top to change the time period.

Price List in Inventory

• As requested by few customers, you can now view the price list / standard price of any item if you have added that in Tally.
• To view the price list, Tap on ‘Items’ from the dashboard and then select any item. There you will see the price list.
• Note that, this change will go live next week after the desktop app update is released.

Inventory Purchase Reorder report

• In the ‘Items’ tab on the dashboard, you can now filter your inventory by stock items that are below the reorder level.
• Click on the filter icon on the ‘Items’ tab and select ‘Reorder level’ to view the items by their reorder level.

Permission to restrict sharing of reports for specific users

• Now, you can restrict sharing of reports for additional users by changing the permission from the users screen.
• With this setting, users with restricted sharing access will only be able to share invoices, ledger report and outstanding of a specific customer. Sharing of other reports will not be authorized.

View the expiry date of each batch and each godown inside inventory

• While viewing the closing balance of any stock item, we showed you the breakdown by godown and batch. Now, we have also added the manufacturing date and expiry date if you have set that in Tally.

• Sort the vouchers in daybook by date and voucher number.
• Customers which have a poor payment performance are now highlighted in the receivables/payables screen.
• On selecting custom date in receivable for a particular party, data was showing as 0. We have fixed that in this release

Settings

• Default Date
  • Currently, when the app opens we show the default date as this year. We have now added a setting to change that to ‘Today’, ‘This Week’, ‘This Month’, ‘This Quarter’, ‘This Year’ as suitable for your business.
  • Change the default date from ‘Settings -> Date Settings -> Default Date’
• Financial Year
  • For our international customers who do not follow the Apr-Mar financial year, we have added a setting in (Settings -> Date Settings -> Financial Year) to change the financial year from Jan-Dec.
• Currency Format
  • We have another setting for our customers outside India, where you can change the format of currency from Indian (Crores, Lakhs, etc) to International (Billions, Millions, etc).
  • Change this setting from ‘Settings -> Currency Format’

Print reports

A couple of releases back we had introduced sharing of various reports by PDF and Excel. One of the popular requests we have received is also to be able to print those reports to printer directly. We are excited to bring that change to you in this release.

Settings

• PDF Preview before sharing
  • Currently, while sharing PDF reports, Biz Analyst directly shares the PDF with the specified application without showing a preview. We have now added a setting (Settings -> Share -> PDF Preview) that shows you a preview of the PDF file that you are about to share.
• Default Date
  • Currently, when the app opens we show the default date as this year. We have now added a setting to change that to ‘Today’, ‘This Week’, ‘This Month’, ‘This Quarter’, ‘This Year’ as suitable for your business.

View sales/purchase vouchers bill wise

You are using Biz Analyst and you want to access your sales vouchers bill wise like you do in Tally? Follow these simple steps to view the data bill wise.

1. Go to Daybook report in the Reports screen
2. Click on the filter icon on the top, you will see the list of all the vouchers. If you would like to view only sales vouchers, then select only the sales voucher type in that list. On doing that you will only see all the sales bill sorted by date and bill wise.
3. You can also change the date using the calendar icon on the top right side to view all the sales vouchers for a specific date period.

View new features in update

• With this release, we add support to view all the new features that are available whenever we push out an update.
• When a new update is available, a dialog will pop up on your app that will show you the features in the new app and ask you to update the app.

Print Reports

• Now while sharing a report, you will also see an option to print reports directly from your app. If you have configured a printer in your android phone, this should work out of the box. Else, you will have to configure the printer first on your mobile.
• One can also save the file as PDF instead of printing a hard copy
